Summer Lecture Series 2010
Scripture Series
The Book of Revelation
With Fr. Anthony Giambrone, OP
The Book of Revelation is considered by most scholars one of the last books of the Bible written. It is Apocalyptic -- presenting world-ending images of war, destruction, and suffering. Especially in modern times, the visionary approach of the Apostle John has led to significant misunderstandings and misinterpretations. Over a series of weeks, Fr. Anthony will provide an in-depth analysis of this final book of the Bible, looking especially at the prophecies of the Old Testament as an aid to understanding its meaning.
His talks will be July 20 and 27 and August 3 and 10 at 7pm in Rosary Hall.
Fr. Anthony offered a very popular series of talks on Scripture last summer. Don't miss this Summer's Scripture presentations.
These talks are being recorded and will be available on DVD. Details to Come! |
